Back To The Future
The 1950's was a key time in New Zealand architecture and Alan Rigby and Tony Mullen were at the forefront of "modern architecture" in this aspirational period. With American influences steel framed homes were the go and this extraordinary house is an excellent and rare example. Positioned on a ridge line with commanding views west over the Firth, the home captures the evening light and magnificent sunsets. With three bedrooms, family room, separate living space downstairs for visitors or B&B, and great garden space this can make a great family home or a couples special retreat.
