Born and bred in Thames, Melissa spent a lot of time in Pauanui growing up, especially once the family bach was purchased in the 90’s and well used over the years. Melissa moved here permanently in 2015 after her four-year stint living outside of the Coromandel when she realised that this is the paradise she wanted to settle down in.
Melissa has travelled extensively for her age visiting over 30 countries. Even though she’s been caught up in the challenges of current travel risks, she believes in living to the fullest and describes herself as a citizen of the world who has chosen Pauanui as her heart’s home. Melissa lived in the Netherlands while studying ‘Economics and Marketing for International Events, Music and Entertainment’ in Tilburg. She found this eye opening and truly valuable and transferable.
She also studied a Bachelor of Creative Technologies at Auckland University of Technology and spent a lot of time in the Auckland theatre scene. She co-founded a non-profit organisation, ‘Speak-Out’, which was implemented into Secondary Schools across the country to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health.
Melissa is relatively new to the Real Estate industry but has a love for the area and has been using her experience in marketing to aid the Richardsons team since early 2017.
